How does SOC 2 readiness relate to HIPAA?

SOC 2 readiness and a HIPAA security risk analysis address different objectives. If your organization also needs to evaluate risks to ePHI, discuss a separately scoped HIPAA Security Risk Assessment. Neither engagement automatically replaces the other.

Move from readiness findings to implementation

Your team can use the action and evidence plans independently. Optional fractional CISO leadership can help organize remediation and executive reporting. The independent CPA firm determines the requirements and results of its examination.
