A clearer starting point

What could the right
CISO cost?

Answer a few questions about your organization and the support you need. We’ll automatically email a preliminary cost range—so you can explore your options before committing to an engagement.

01 What kind of support do you need?

Choose the option that best fits your needs. If you’re unsure, select “Not sure yet” below.

02 What level of security leadership do you need?

Choose the responsibility and experience your engagement needs, rather than years alone. Experience affects fractional and interim estimates within our service ranges. For assessments, projects, and permanent recruiting, it guides the consultant or candidate profile; recruiting fees remain based on compensation.

03 What type of organization are you?
04 How large is your organization?
05 How complex is the environment?

Think about distinct legal entities, technology systems, or customer environments—not the number of physical locations. If you’re unsure, we use a moderate complexity allowance and confirm the scope with you. For permanent recruiting, these answers inform the role profile; the fee is based only on compensation.

06 When would you like to start?
07 What are your main priorities?

Choose one or more.

Where should we email your estimate?

We’ll email the range to you and a copy of your request to HealthcareCISO, then store the request privately for review and follow-up. Please do not include patient information, passwords, or sensitive security details.

A starting range, not a commitment.

For fractional, interim, assessment, and project work, employee count, locations, start timing, and environment complexity determine a narrower estimate within our service ranges. The requested leadership experience also affects fractional and interim estimates. Organization type helps us understand your scope without an automatic category surcharge. Permanent recruiting is priced as a percentage of the annual base salary plus guaranteed first-year bonuses you enter; your emailed estimate will explain the fee. All estimates are preliminary; scope and final fees are confirmed in writing.

SOC 2 readiness and general readiness reviews are advisory services. Independent examinations, certifications, third-party fees, implementation, and technical testing are separately scoped unless explicitly included in your written agreement.
