FBI Director Christopher Wray warned that the current scale of espionage and cybersecurity threats from China were "unprecedented in history," The Hill reported.

In an April 24 interview, Mr. Wray said that the biggest threat targeting the U.S. is the People's Republic of China, especially the Chinese Communist Party.

"They are targeting our innovation, our trade secrets, our intellectual property, on a scale that's unprecedented in history," Mr. Wray said.

He noted that China's hacking program is larger than that of every other major nation combined.
